Baltimore County public schools are among the best in the country. Vince Gardina has committed his efforts to see that these schools stay that way by working to improve school facilities, providing more books and supplies and fighting to stop overcrowding.

Fought to have more books added to Baltimore County School Libraries
(over $5 million budgeted during the past four years)
Fighting for a new Northeast Area high school
Obtained funding to study the need for a new high school in the northeast area and obtained funding this year for site aquisition
Led the fight to have students illegally attending Baltimore County Public Schools expelled and residency verification improved
Introduced legislation to control school overcrowding by stopping development when schools are overcapacity
